Meet the Flock
Meet the boys and ladies of the The LOCAL YOLK. These are my breeders from where all my beautiful chickens come from. Most of them I have hatched from my original sets from Puerto Rico.

The Blue Pen (G)
This Pen contains Maggie, one of my original Kikis from Puerto Rico, and Tobias, a naked neck acquired from a breeder in FL.

The White Pen (W)
This Pen contains one of the first Roosters born here, Snow. It also includes Angel (white hen),Daisy(white hen) and Prim (crested/Topy)

Crele Pen (C)
This Pen contains Creed the Crele Rooster and his girls Lola, Spice (topy) and Dolly (vaulted /aka big bone topy)

The Barred/Cuckoo Pen (O)

This Pen contain Barry the Barred Rooster and his girls Bonnie and Layla, who has a micro topy (little fluff on the head), and Phyllis who is vaulted (aka big bone topy)

The Misc Pen (M)
This Pen contains those chickens I just couldn't seem to part with. They have some characteristics that I would love to see more of in my flock.Currently this pen contains this light blue girl with the fluffiest cheeks and beard and a very tiny white rooster.
The Serama Kikirki Pen (S)
This Pen contains a pair that I purchased locally. They grew up to be well over a pound.I am not sure if they were mixed with Serama or not so I do not use these two to hatch nor sell their eggs unless someone specifically requests them.

The House Rooster (SSK)
Here is Lil' Nugget and his girl Lil'Bitsy. Lil' Nugget came from some locally bought KikiRiki eggs. He is definitely a mix of Silky Serama and Kikiriki. He is he most loving Rooster. He loves to be held and get snuggles. Lil' Bitsy is a tiny short legged Kikiriki that I hatched from my P.R. Flock. I do not sell these eggs unless requested.
The Black Pen (B)
This pen includes Ozzy who was shipped in from Puerto Rico and Matilda who is crested and Esmeralda (vaulted/aka big bone topy)

Silky Serama Kiris Mix (SSK2)
This is the second generation of the Silky Serama Kikiriki mix. This hen and rooster carry the silky serama gene and can create silky serama feathering in their offspring. These eggs are only sold when specifically requested.

Residents

These are just other current residents of The LOCAL YOLK that are currently not laying eggs or in pens with roosters. They are some of my retired layers, broody mamma's or soon to be laying hens and young roosters.
